As a first time “dog Mom” NWV has been phenomenal! Later evening hours are great for routine appointments and I have always been able to get in last minute for urgent care. Everyone is kind, compassionate, and willing to take the extra time to address and answer questions and concerns.

Dr Carr, Sue and the whole team is always great. We couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thanks for taking good care of Bailey.

I don't know who loves Dr Carr and his out standing staff more, me or my pug Lucy! I have been coming to North Windham Vet with my dogs for the past 30 years and we have always been well taken care of medical and treated like a member of the family. This place is truly the best!

Beautiful office; nice, big open spaces. Everyone looked great. I wish I would have brought my prior pets into this office. You guys and gals are awesome. Everyone loved the puppies. First visit with our fur babies was great. Dr. Carr and staff were very genuine and cared about the pups. The puppies seemed very happy to be there.

I'm pleasantly surprised that with the amount of pets dealt with on a daily basis and the range of illnesses dealt with that the staff is always so clean and that the building is so clean and odor free. I was there once when the staff was taking a black light to a room to find where a cat may have peed because they could smell it but couldn't see it. That was so impressive because I didn't even remotely smell it but they were determined to find it!
I absolutely love the way this office handles check in and check out. I've only had to wait in the reception area twice in the year we've been using this practice and both times it was probably because we were so early but once another dog came in or before a dog was released for check out - they moved us to a room to avoid interaction. I do not worry about my dogs, they are small and although they bark a lot, they are harmless and I'm sure many dogs that are seen there are as well but the fact that they take that extra step to avoid dogs interacting is highly respected and shows that they know canine behavior.
Dr. Carr was beyond amazing. He listened to every single question I asked and he was just so joyful with my pup that I could just tell how much he enjoys what he does. I didn't even realize he was the owner of the practice until just now when I looked up his name to be able to reference him here, but I cannot envision anyone better to run the practice. And all the techs are also fantastic. One time I brought all 3 dogs in at once to get bordatella before unexpected boarding and as frazzled and stressed I was - they were fantastic!! I kept apologizing and they insisted that it was not a problem and that it was normal. I know that's probably not true but I definitely appreciated that! In addition - when they're holding my dogs for procedures - I truly feel like they're holding them as if they're their own pups. I can focus on just petting their heads and talking to the pups because the techs are securely, safely, and even lovingly holding my babies. That wasn't always the case at my previous vet so I can truly appreciate it even more now.
We moved up here from NY in June 2016 and I visited three vet offices (North Windham first and then two others) and I could've just stopped with this one. I dropped in unannounced and it was very quiet inside which threw me off but now I know it's just part of the calming nature of the office. All of my questions were answered at that moment and I followed up with a second visit just to be sure I wasn't just there on a "good" day. The inviting yet calming nature of the office and staff is truly appreciated with my high strung pups! I've called quite a few times to ask questions or with any concerns and have always felt like the staff taking the call cared about my concern and I felt good about how it was handled (whether by just talking me through something or by talking with the doctor and calling me back. I've never felt that they were going to pressure me to come in to be seen unless they truly thought it was necessary. The only thing I would change if I could is to be able to talk to a doctor on call overnight and on weekends just because that's naturally when things come up on my end, and I'd love it if weekend hours were available. I'd even work the reception desk if I needed to just to have the availability to schedule weekend or at least Saturday appointments. Neither of these two requests change how I feel about the practice at all... just my two cents. :) Thanks for your time and contact me for any follow up questions!

"We are completely satisfied and grateful for the care our pet receives (and our other pets have received) at your establishment. We can't imagine there could be improvements necessary."
"I have never been more pleased with the love and care that goes into every appointment at North Windham Vet Hospital. It is so nice to know when I bring my dog, Hank, in to see all his human friends at North Windham Vet that he will be well taken care of and it is clear that they all have his best interest. We are always taken care of as soon as we walk through the door, during our visit, and at the front desk as we check out. Hank, and also my husband and I, are very thankful for everyone who works at North Windham Vet. Not only does Hank get so excited to go inside and greet his favorite humans, but he also knows where Jenna keeps the treats behind the desk and he can't wait to see her and ask for a treat :-) Thank you to you all- your compassion and love for these amazing furry (sometimes not as furry) animals is astounding and the world is a better place because of each of you. Thank you for making our experience with our "baby" Hank one that will live on for a lifetime. We will always continue to bring any animals we have to North Windham Vet. :-)"
"I am so happy that I changed my pet's care to North Windham last year. I have had many appointments for my three dogs since then, from regular vaccinations to the very emotional illness and passing of my 14-year old lab. In every way, your staff has been beyond helpful, compassionate, attentive, and professional. Everyone in reception is kind and bright and efficient. The Dr's and techs are amazing. I have never had less than a perfect experience here. Caring for your pet's properly is not cheap but I feel the value here is better than anywhere I have ever been. Thank you for doing it right!!! "
"Very clean and well kept both clinic and staff. Very fast service with compassionate care! The clinic is always doing their best to get me and my pet exactly what we need in a timely manner; all while being very considerate and friendly! Wouldn't use any other clinic! The staff is absolutely amazing!"
"It's clear that everyone, from the front desk, assistant staff to the Doctor love what they do. Wonderful experience! Thank you"
"You guys are awesome! When I got the call about Sasha's potassium levels you made sure I understood what it could mean and how we can take care of it. I appreciate the openness and honesty, as well as the compassion from the staff. Also for a cat she really seems to like you guys, in her own special way, even if she hates the care ride. Also, having all her medical information online is AMAZING. It was so nice to be able to look over her blood work results myself and having that information should I need it."
"You were so helpful when we were unable to see our regular VET. Having a new puppy for less than three weeks is stressful and you welcomed our visit with helpfulness and compassion. THANK YOU!!!!!"
"Both our dogs love coming here. They are made to feel safe and loved at the North Windham Veterinary Hospital. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and just awesome! I wouldn't think of taking my dogs elsewhere."
"Dr. Kinney was very thorough, very kind, and did a great job of explaining Bailee's diagnosis. I was so pleasantly surprised and impressed that she gave me a follow up call the next week to check in. I cannot explain how appreciative I am of her sincerity. I highly recommend your practice for those who want the best care for their pets that doesn't have to come at an unreasonable price."
"We love your staff!! We moved to your clinic just over a year ago. I am always impressed that everyone knows my pet when i get there. Care is outstanding and your costs are much lower than some of your competitors. We are so happy we switched to Windham :)"
"Everything looks great and inviting. The team had great personalities and made me feel comfortable having my cat treated by them. You can tell everyone loves animals here :) All around everything is great, I felt welcomed and the team took my concerns about my cats health seriously. I recommend this vet over other ones I've been to in the past."
"I very much appreciated the help I received in keeping Cyrus and the other dogs in the clinic safe. Cyrus doesn't like to meet other dogs when he is on leash and I am 5 months pregnant and not as steady on my feet right now. It never seemed a hassle to the staff to help me. I really felt like they cared about not only my dog but me and my safety as well."
"I recommend you don't change anything. As I've told many people, your practice seems to run like a well-oiled machine and I always have complete confidence Tucker and Olive will get the attention they deserve. Thanks, so much!"
"Great facility. You have always given us good care. Thanks"
"Keep up the great work creating the welcoming environment as one enters the facility."
"Thank you for taking good care of Nandi! I'm so glad she is on the mend and that you were able to see her right away."
"I'm not the type to give all 5's for service, but I really liked what I saw. Clean, punctual, knowledgable, friendly. Keep up the great work."
